Hi Dave, thank you for getting back to me.......I found a place to do what I need, it was for acrylic butterflies. But I would love to get in touch with to discuss an idea I am working on which I would be keen to use metal, if that’s ok with you? :)

Hi sarah, I echo the valid comments you make below. With regards to the laser cutting, what material are you planning to use? I sculpt in metal and have access to a plasma cutter, would that be of any use? Dave

Heath (Scapa/kingfisher) filtration used to laser cut certain materials. They were based in Burslem, but I'm not sure if they're still in existence or even if they could help, worth checking though:)

Hi Sarah, I'm not sure I can help you out there but might be worth contacting Congleton Laser Cutting... cheers, Katy

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if any one knows of any local places in Stoke on Trent that do laser cutting, and would be happy to work on a relatively small project. It would be of great help if you could help out please let me know. Thank you :)

hooray for Creative Boom! i always get that isolated feeling, especially when there's no work coming in, sometimes its hard to stay creative when feeling low or bored. I always find it hard doing stuff just for myself but its important to stay positive and keep pushing yourself, or having some encouragement from others, which is where this site and Creative Boom come in for me, stops that cut off feeling and builds a sense of community. You never know Sarah, may be you can make friends with someone who has the equipment you need :) (sorry i have no heat press lol, but we can friends!!)
